2011 Design Team

"My name is Jane Tregenza. I have five children, ranging from 16 to 27 years of age. This means I have lots of photos to scrapbook (although I’m sad to say I don’t have any lovely close-ups of baby feet and hands). I have been teaching and selling a wide range of crafts over the years, even supplying David Jones Australia wide at one stage. I came across scrapbooking 2004 after walking into a scrapbook store looking for ideas for an album for my oldest daughter who was turning 21. After having a free beginner’s class and deciding I could do better, I had a go at some pages and was asked to teach. It all went from there. I love to scrapbook and teach. It is so much fun to share each others experiences, but also a privilege as I get to share in lots of peoples lives, hear about the highs and special moments, and also sometimes the sadder times.” Jane is on the Graphic 45 Design Team for 2010, the owner and operator of Seriously Scrapbooking store in South Australia and founder of Imaginarium Designs. Jane has recently been published in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine, Scrapbook Creations Magazine and Scrapbooking and Beyond.

“Hi …. I’m Steph. I am a mum to Emma (7) and Madison (4) and wife to a beautiful guy named Mark. I am a qualified Interior Decorator and Colour Consultant.
Just a quick scrappy history, I started scrapping in 2004 and entered a design team comp that year with For Keeps Magazine (Australia). Through that I won an Award in Design and a year on the Design Team. In 2005 I entered the same comp, this time being blessed enough to be asked on the Elite Team. In 2006 I was contracted to the magazine and co-authored a book called "Traditions" and a calendar. From 2007 up to now I have been freelancing between the 2 Australian magazines, writing articles and submitting layouts & am currently a contracted writer for Scrapbooking Memories Australia.  In 2007 I was asked to join Aussie Scrap Source, Australia's leading wholesaler as part of their Design Team and designed layouts and classes for them for 3 years. Late in 2008, Danielle Thompson contacted me and invited me to join her DT for Kitschy Digitals, exploring hybrid scrapbooking. In 2010 I received an invitation to join Webster's Pages DT which I still design for. 2011 looks like an amazing year as I will be a guest designer with Pink Paislee.  My artwork has been published in Creating Keepsakes both in the US & Australia and just recently S.M.M. Scrapbooking in Sweden, Scrapbooking Russia, and Scrapbook Trends UK. I am also a Co-Founder & Designer of The Color Room.  I'm really excited to be part of this amazing creative team, and can't wait to share my designs with Imaginarium with you."

Hi there ... I'm Natalie May. A 35 year old mum to a gorgeous 7 year old daughter, Jessica, a wife to a very supportive hubby and I love working in this industry!
I have been a card maker for about 10 years and discovered Scrapbooking late 2006. It’s such a brilliant creative outlet, with no restrictions as to what you can do and VERY addictive! My family is my main inspiration obviously, but I love scrapping any photos. If I like the photo, I’ll scrap it! I also love to create mini albums and “Off the Page” projects.
I don’t believe have a particular style - I love to experiment and try new things but most of my LO’s are unorganized and casual. My theory is…. “ If it looks good – Stick it down!”  I love to work off a sketch or page map but also enjoy letting my creative juices flow and let the paper guide me!
I love using a variety of techniques on my pages from dry and wet embossing, Glimmermist, inking and more recently I have become addicted to my Cuttlebug again. I have a soft spot for chipboard and really get so much fulfillment from teaching and making sure that my students walk away from a class having learnt something new.
I have been published in all three Australian Scrapbooking magazines and have recently written a couple of magazine article for the Australian magazines.
I love this industry … the opportunity to teach a new technique…. Meeting so many amazing people…..and to be able to CREATE everyday is quite a blessing.

Back in 2003 Heather spotted a scrapbook magazine & discovered this amazing hobby.
What do I love about Scrapbooking..? Scrapbooking is the perfect combination of art, photography, beautiful paper & glorious words. I can incorporate all the arts & crafts I love in one hobby. For me, scrapbooking is full of love and compassion, friendships & sharing, fun & laughter.   Staying up late till the early hours scrapping with friends...creating works or art, history and leaving legacies for future generations. I love the freedom of creating my own ideas & self expression & the challenge of creating something new & different. The possibilities are endless... My books are a reflection of my life, my history, my family & friends... also who I was yesterday & who I am today. I couldn't ask for a better way to satisfy my need to create.
My style..? A classic style with attention to detail, meaningful journaling & the use of strong colours.  What is my favourite technique right now...? Definitely without a doubt.. STITCHING... and altering old books to use as journals.  My trademark...? Tags, quotes & beyond the page projects... Single photo pages with stitching, rows of brads & journaling.
One of the best things I have learned about myself since beginning scrapbooking is not to take myself so seriously. This craft has taught me how to have fun, to play, make a mess and go crazy... I remind myself if I make a "MISTAKE" I can always start again because after all it is really just paper and pictures & stories. Most times I discover something really marvellous from a so called "mistake"..
I am soooooo thrilled and excited to be given this opportunity to be part of this "elite" group of artists, they all possess such talent and passion for this craft.
Thanks Jane for creating these amazing "chippies" and including me on this fantastic journey.
I feel soooo lucky .. hugz x

My name is Candy Rosenberg and I have been an artist since I was born, I was cutting paper the second I could fit scissors in my hand.  When I was first introduced to scrapbooking nearly 5 years ago now, I really did not take to it very easily.  It took quite awhile to get it figured out.  I remember walking into my first Creating Keepsakes Convention in Portland, Oregon.  I made the four hour trip with my 8 year old daughter and when we first walked up to the convention area there was a roped off section of rolling totes.  I can remember looking at all the totes with stacks of other totes on top of them that went 4-5 feet high.  The first thing that came to mind was "are these women completely out of their minds"!

Little did I know that I would eventually join that group of crazy women!  I went one step further however as I started to find my niche.  I love to teach, I love playing with paper and making art.
. I am also the proud mom of a son currently serving in the Navy.
I love everything vintage! Just imagining the story behind a particular vintage piece is very intriguing to me, and I enjoy infusing vintage findings into my projects. I have been papercrafting for over 5 years and enjoy sharing and inspiring others in this craft.

My name is Asuka Miyamoto. Also known as Machu in Japan. I was introduced to scrapbook in 2008 by my friend. I was so touched when I first knew that we can decorate our memories so beautifully. I feel such excitement when I'm creating something. I enjoy seeing my creations with my son and hearing his impressions on them. I love scrapbook so much because when you open the album pages after a couple of years. you can remember all the precious memories you had with your family and friends. And it's a really beautiful way to store your memories!! :D Now, since my second son was born in Jul. 2009, I don't have that much time to craft, but still I am enjoying it when I can.
I want to express the feelings, the movements through the photos by my creations. I love to cut out photos, use paint and mists, ink and distress for my pages. I mostly use graphic designs for my work but also love to make shabby chic pages. I am so grateful for this opportunity and excited to create with beautiful products. Thank you so much!!

Hi, my name is Tomoko Takahashi and I live in Osaka, Japan. I am blessed with a 2 year old daughter, Nanami. I started scrapbook since Mar. 2009, introduced by my friend. I think this will be my lifetime hobby. I love to use gentle coloured paints and mists on my pages to create soft and feminine styles, but I also love to use bold and vintage style every now and then. My inspiration comes from beautiful products and lovely pictures of my precious daughter.
My style has been ever changing and I've been adventurous through my scrapbook life. But I love every single creation I made because they are all about my memories with my family and friends, which I will treasure forever. I am so honored to be part of this team. Thank you so much for this great opportunity!!!
