More Techniques with Chipboard

How good is the Imaginarium Team, sharing their fave techniques this month?
There are some fabulous ideas to be shared!

Today I have 4 more great Techniques for you.

First is Belinda
This is a quick and easy technique I like to use to create a shabby chic look on my chipboard. All you need is gesso, mist, scrap paper and a make-up wedge. So simple and it creates a lovely base on which to layer more chipboard.

Alison has this great technique
Embossing is a lovely way to add a subtle texture to your project - Step 1, Lightly mist both sides of a piece of Watercolour paper or other 'thick' cardstock - Step 2, add your chipboard to the plate, the paper, then a crease mat and/or score mat (work out which pressure works best with your machine?) - Step 3, the result is an embossed design - remember when working with words to lay them under the paper as you want to see them - Step 4, optional, you can run an ink pad over the image and then it's ready to create with - you could add almost anything that fits through your machine and if you don't have a machine you can put pressure with a rolling pin, this is particularly effective if you want to add Embossing to a 12x12 page - enjoy!!

Miriam loves this crackle paint effect.

And Sue loves to create texture!
My favourite technique with chipboard is to use gesso to great texture on it,. Gesso is so inexpensive and just about everybody has it in their stash these days. With a heat gun, black spray ink and gold metallic paint you can antique up just about anything, it looks really great on frames asI have done here
